HONG'S BELT — Modular Plastic Conveyor Belts

Food Processing Conveyor Belts

Food and beverage processing is part of the industry scope in the source material, alongside bottling lines and plastic bottle conveying. This guide does not claim that any series is suitable for a food or beverage line: suitability depends on the product, the line, and the documentation the supplier can provide, so the guide lists the questions that settle it.

Two grid series carry recorded food-processing descriptions: the HS-703b-N open grid belt, described for seafood, meat, vegetable, fruit, and beverage processing, and the HS-3600b flush grid belt, described for meat, poultry, seafood, and fruit and vegetable processing. The 1701tab flat-top chains are described for food conveying. Each of those descriptions is a listing description, and each must be confirmed for your exact product and line.

Questions a food or beverage inquiry must answer

Ask what product the belt must carry, what must drain through it or stay on it, and what cleaning the line requires. Ask whether the series is offered for that exact product and line, and for food-contact documentation if your use requires it.

Ask what material is recommended for your operating temperature, and whether that material is the one the food-contact documentation covers, if documentation is required.

Ask whether the belt must be an open grid, a flush grid, or a flat top for your product, and which recorded series the supplier recommends for that surface — then ask for the recommendation tied to an exact model, not to the family name.

What is not claimed here
